The main reason I started For You Expressions was to give people a place to go for custom vinyl for DIY projects. I've seen a lot of projects on Pinterest that use vinyl. For those that don't have a Circuit or other craft vinyl cutter the solution has been to go to the store and by vinyl. When that was my only option, I didn't bother. I don't have nice handwriting for making posters, so I remember all those projects in school where I used store bought sticker letters. Yes, the stickers looked good in the end- if you were successful enough at lining up EVERY letter. I always had a least one or two mess ups that cause me to have to carefully peel the letter up that resulted in tearing of the display board. Oh, the frustration and time! I got to the point where I just wanted a vinyl cutter to do all these craft projects on Pinterest. I wanted to etch words on wine glasses, make stencils for painting crafts, put designs on tumblers, and SO much more, but I refused to use store bought stickers. Time to get a vinyl cutter! My husband had the forward thinking idea to buy a commercial cutter instead of the home craft cutter. This was such a good idea! One- my projects could be bigger!!! Two- one day I could share my cutter. Here I am, sharing my cutter!!! Don't try to line up all those letters to create your quote on a canvas or wall! Don't try and line them all up on a cup or mug! Just check out my decals (some are shown below) or message me and I'll create a custom decal for you. These vinyl decals come all on one "sticker" to allow you to line up the decal where you want it and easily apply it. I think these decals are so much easier to use than the letter stickers you find in the stores. I'm not just saying "message me and I'll create a custom decal" to be nice, I really do mean it. I have had a few friends contact me with something they have seen and ask, "Can you make this?". My answer, "Yes!" The custom projects are my favorite because I am actually doing what I set out to do- help people create a decal for their DIY project. Also, it feels good to create something you know that someone wants and is excited about getting. I get excited when someone buys one of my designs or decals; but a lot of the time I don't have much contact with them, so the feeling fades quickly. I don't know how they are going to use the decals, or how the project turned out. With custom orders, I have a lot more contact with the person and feel connected to their DIY project and the feeling doesn't fade.
